you know i keep meaning to write a post here and i keep forgetting! so anyways here i am
this term’s a shit term for me (as compared to my slack term last year) so im just trying to cope with everything.. im doing analytical skills (if A is B, and B is C, then is A = C?? and that kinda thing), business,gov&society (that i suck at), and intro to psych, intro to sociology, and plural perspectives to political issues (gosh that was a mouthful), and creative thinking starting sometime in march. all the socsc modules have a lot a lot of readings to finish, and sometimes bgs does too so its a lot of prep to do before class.
classmates are almost the same ones i had last term, at least those worth being in the same class with. im happy coz i got crystal and huan in my psych class! of course there’re the irritating ones who bloody wont shuttup in lessons and it pisses everyone off coz its like “ok fine you wwant your participation points you got it so keep quiet and give someone else a chance already” but yeah..
smu’s grand opening was last week. gosh so much money went into the whole thing its amazing. we had pyrotechnics and crazy lights and a plasma screen, that would have all gone to waste if there was a slight drizzle. thank god it didnt. security was uber tight coz of all the ministers coming, and i had to walk thru like 4 metal detectors even with a special pass they gave. and they did bombsweeps and all. we felt quite important yes, and they fed us so much, 4 meals for performers, buffet style, and surprisingly good food! and free beer. whoo!
now that thats over we’re all taking a well deserved rest from daily rehearsals that end at 11pm and classes that start at 830.. phew. oh and im teaching salsa at nus now. HAHA. at christine’s hall, because my neighbour needed a partner for demonstration purposes and i need money for many purposes so im there for the next 3 wednesdays, in the evening. nus people pop by, meet up and say helloo please!
nows the crunchtime for all smu people.. i suppose its the same for the nus and ntu people la huh. suddenly (ok not SO suddenly) all my projects are due.. i have to do presentations on amillion and one things.. and on top of that i have to deal with the annoyingeejit — yes that one who called me suggestive, bimbotic, act cute, and accused me of not thinking at all. (yes all gasp now)
but on the brighter side, all this is going to be over in approximately 20 days (i think?) and then we’re free!!!!
can’t wait for another gathering really.. the coffee session at SMU the last time was fantastic i think we should make it a weekly thing but you and i know that isnt possible…. all the same lets have one soon!
ok im back to preparing for my presentation in like an hour.. for the prof who flew to LA to catch the rolling stones and one other concert, attended 2 parties, took pictures with famous people, and flew back. i just met him on the way up and he told me so its really true arg.

my knees have gone wonky again.. i think they’re very good weather forecasters. if im in pain it means its going to rain. and considering how often its been raining you can just imagine how often my knees have been acting up. but not to worry ive been ice-ing it that’ll do the trick.
sch wise.. i missed the A grade for my democracy midterms by one pathetic mark.. BUT! i got an A got my oral presentation in communications class…and i talked about tsd other than that.. the major project for leadership&teambuilding (ltb) is over for me and thank god for that man i dont have to work with the annoying eejit as much now!
tried looking out for jianguang everytime i pass the istana but he’s never there!! 
started wakeboarding a few months back.. and because of my wonky knees i have to tape them before i go riding.. and now i have very tak glam tan lines on my legs. bah. but its really really fun! (and expensive) but fun!! and horribly addictive. anyone wants to donate to the ‘let sue ride’ fund?
ah back to my readings once again. i dont remember doing this much preperation for classes in jc.
hello my darlings who are coming for our childrens’ day barbeque, i think i’ll get the food prepared on friday so just come down at 6 ish eh? you all know the directions la you’ve come so many times. so come 6ish, whoever can help prepare food on fri afternoon call me. and remember to bring $10!

for term 1 i’m doing communications 101, leadership and team building, stats , and democracy
comms is quite slack la, teaches stuff like how to write effectively (direcct etc etc no flowery sophiscated language)
LTB’s a real killer. the main component is a community service project that you have to run with a team they assign, and they make you write learning journals and all that. this’s the module that’s taking my life and everything, and one guy in my team is perpatually pissing me off and you know its not easy to piss me off so often!
stats. is well. ’nuff said la huh. apparently its an easier version but i catch no ball
democracy is like history all over agian man! a lot of readings! (expensive readings man, we pay for copyright)
CCA wise.. im in……. dance.

i met up with siv for coffee for a short while just now at PS, we went over to the istana to try to poke jianguang but he wasnt there.. and siva tried telling the policemen i was a bomb. eerrr. ya go figure.
